TAMAM farms are the only ones in Jordan and the Arab world that is CERTIFIED HUMANE©, a certification obtained from the global organization “Humane Farm Animal Care” based in the United States. This certification aims for a more humane world towards herds of farm animals.
The presence of the CERTIFIED HUMANE© logo on TAMAM products assures to our customers that these products have been raised in farms that mimic the natural behavior of poultry, with low stocking densities allowing for freedom of movement, feeding on nutritious grains free from any animal by-products, ensuring no use of antibiotics and hormones whatsoever. Continuous audits by the certifying organization for CERTIFIED HUMANE© ensure this.
Difference between TAMAM's normal Chicken and TAMAM's Organic Chicken?
Extending TAMAM's journey from producing grain-fed chickens to producing Antibiotics-Free chickens, then obtaining the CERTIFIED HUMANE© certification, TAMAM farms culminated their activity in producing Organic Chicken as a pioneering project in Jordan.
Where poultry are fed on organic non-GMO grains, Free Range, and large outdoor spaces covered with olive trees and green vegetation suitable for grazing poultry and practicing their natural behavior.
Production began after obtaining approval from the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture according to the Jordanian Organic Agriculture system for the year 2016, and with a license from the Italian organization CCPB for the production of organic poultry meat according to the European Union regulations EC 834/2007 and its annexes, as well as the CERTIFIED HUMANE© certification from the United States.
